My upholstered kitchen chairs need to be recovered. I got one estimate of $40 per chair plus a pick up and delivery fee. Is this hard to do yourself? The chairs are a focal point and I don't want to mess them up. Any suggestions?
Reupholstery can be a bit tricky. For the recovering to have the best result you need to be very precise and detailed. If you are feeling less than confident, take a class. Your chairs could be your class project. Although you will pay to take the class, in the end you will have gained the skill you want. You will be ready the next time a reupholstery project comes your way.
Sincerely,
